We have made available a number of Windows software packages written by Ian Carr, that take some of the graft out of routine applications in human genetics. They fall loosely into the following categories:
Genetic mapping
Programs for genetic mapping, including autozygosity mapping of recessive disease genes using SNP arrays.
Sequencing
Programs for sequence analysis, mutation detection and analysis of sequence electropherograms.
Next Generation Sequencing
Programs for next generation sequence analysis, mutation detection and analysis of sequence electropherograms.
Other software
Programs for performing various data manipulation and other genetics-related tasks.
